Dutta organized Mentoring Events at 2023 Interspeech Conference in Dublin

Dublin (Ireland), Aug 20-24, 2023 – Satwik organized the Mentoring Events at INTERSPEECH 2023.

After four successful editions of the mentoring event, at INTERSPEECH 2019 in Graz, INTERSPEECH 2020 in Shanghai (online), INTERSPEECH 2021 in Brno (online), and INTERSPEECH 2022 in Incheon (hybrid), ISCA’s new Mentoring Committee is joining forces with the Student Advisory Committee, ISCA-SAC to organise mentoring events for the fourth time, at INTERSPEECH 2023 in Dublin. Similarly to what happened last year, we will hold two events: round tables and one-on-one mentoring. We invite all researchers in any stage of their career to participate. Participants will be given the opportunity to engage in group (round-table) and one-to-one discussions with academics/researchers/professionals from academia and industry in a friendly, welcoming environment.

• Round-Table Mentoring: In-person during INTERSPEECH 2023, on Tuesday August 22nd, 2023 from 12:00 to 13:30 PM at the Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland.

• One-on-One Mentoring: Choice/preference of the mentor and mentee, this can be in-person or virtual.

Yesterday we wrapped up one of our favorite events - the Round-Table Mentoring ☺️.
We had 20 mentors from academia, industry, and start-ups to share their experiences and learning with students and student careers. We were HOUSEFULL!!!
